I updated the site with javascript, it is gross to touch that thing but fortunately chat gpt can do it
previously I used only html+css, so the main html had the top bar and borders and I had a iframe showing the actual page
now you directly enter the page and the code later adds the bars, that way when you middle click an option it won't open the content with a blank background, and also your flow between pages is saved on the history and you can used the back and forward buttons
